Navitrolla’s

paintings and graphics from the beginning to the present day

From March 14, 2026, Schloss Fellini will be decorated with the works of artist Navitrolla.

The atmosphere, location, size, and special lighting of Schloss Fellin make it possible to create a very unique exhibition that highlights the diversity of the artist’s work. The exhibition shows Navitrolla’s hard work in the early days – homemade brushes, oil paints obtained with great difficulty from Russia, and canvases made from floor paper. These first paintings were saved 30 years ago by Navitrolla’s mother.

The second part of the exhibition is the artist’s first fully realized concept. On display is a selection of magical plants in all their glory, with explanatory text accompanying each image.

The third part consists of recent works – paintings, graphics, mixed techniques. Everything within and around us changes and evolves, and the artist is no exception. Thus, the exhibition is a story of one artist’s development and regression, creative searches and discoveries, renunciations and renewed searches.

The artist Navitrolla (whose real name is Heiki Trolla) was born on August 10, 1970, in Võru County and has been involved in art his entire life. Based on approximately a hundred exhibitions, it can be said that visitors to his exhibitions can be broadly divided into two groups: some like it very much, others not at all. Despite the latter, Navitrolla’s paintings and sculptures bring joy to people all over the world.
